Where to Connect Vacuum Gauge. Thread Tools. I have a 6 cy and want to connect a vacuum guage to the intake manifold. The shop manual says it should be connected to the vacuum port that operates vacuum operated windshield wipers but it doesn't have an illustration of where it is and my truck has electric wipers. I'm assuming it's one of the ports on the intake manifold that have the threaded plug in them.
