The event aims to gather young, single participants from 18 years old to break the world's current Guinness World Records. Each celebrity will join one of the 15 dating groups of 40 people each and will have 20 dates with other participants. Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the largest speed dating event Multi-Venue ; it involved 1, people across Australia, and was organised by Fast Impressions to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the dating organisation RSVP and help funding the Drought Relief. The Guinness World Record has been broken as part of Expedia's 'Holidate', a social experiment designed to prove the link between travel and love, with daters taking part in a series of different dates over 24 hours; in the UK, in the air and in Venice. The 60 male and female singletons, including 30 daters from the UK, signed up for the Expedia dating experiment through new dating website, the first dating site that focuses on interesting, fun activities people can do on date. Speed Dating – Guinness World Records Official Attempt

Are you single and looking for a more original and perhaps less depressing way to celebrate Valentine's Day this year? Register to take part in breaking a world record! Dates will be picked in advance based on people's sexual orientation and age and participants can expect to meet around 15 people over the course of the evening. Participants will be colour coded based on their interest group.
