Dating the bosss daughter

So whats the rules when attempting to date the boss's daughter

My dad own a construction company and he hired this new guy Jason. Jason would stare at me alot, and one day my dad came home and said "Jason likes you" I saw Jason at a party like a week later and he was really flirty and bold with me, he also asked for my number, and I gave it to him. He didn't contact me but I contacted him through texting like 2 weeks later, and it was goofy, funny, casual texts. He asked me out alot, and he was constantly texting me, but my friends kept telling me not to go out with him, and my cousin cause she said that would be betraying her. She never dated him, but she liked him and she has a boyfriend and she is 25 and she hasn't seen Jason since she was like But I listened to her and so I rejected Jason. I felt really bad though cause I like Jason, and he invited me and my brother out to a bar, and I figured well I will just go with my brother, so when we got there he was super drunk and left with this couple and basically stood us up.
