When you vowed that you'd be there for me I took it to the heart so when you left me all alone my soul fell apart the red rose that you gave me under the shining moon has withered and died just like our relationship, both were too soon still I felt tied to you linked together I wanted to hold you again I had felt that our love would last forever Then I realized your love was just a disguise you only used me for your own needs your 'love' was only ever greed I willed myself to become stronger so that my next relationship would be longer and then happiness sprouted from within I realized that holding hands with myself was harder then it ever could have been to hold hands with him. Now that you turn 22 with the EP release, do you think a song about being 22 would sound totally different? Being 21 was such a fulfilling age for me. I never had a fake ID. Get that damn licence! This week, Claire Schwartz is on the line. I left him and am doing all I can to heal, but my half-closed wounds rip open at the slightest irritations. I, on the other hand, feel ashamed and insignificant. Worse than the pain is my anger: I keep rewriting our breakup script, inserting scenes where I finally get to make him feel my pain.
