LoginOur work is underpinned by a human rights-based approach. Influenced by our members preferences, we organise a wide selection of social events where there are opportunities for new friendships and connections to be created. We facilitate friendship matching, date chaperoning and training workshops. Each of our Dates-n-Mates branches are led by a small dedicated team. Each team includes Directors who have a lived experience of learning disability.

Love4Life is a friendship and dating network for people with learning disabilities and autism. We organise workshops and social events that help you make friends and build relationships in a relaxed atmosphere. We provide life-changing opportunities for people with autism and learning disabilities to build lasting friendships and relationships. From clubbing, karaoke and festivals to bowling, drama and sports, members can choose which events suit them, and there is always a good range of choice. For some events, such as meals out or the cinema, there will be an extra cost, however other events and all of our workshops are free.
This page covers supporting people with learning disabilities to date, the challenges faced, and how to address them and provide the appropriate support needed. People with a learning disability have rights just like anyone else. Everyone has the right to a loving relationship and to have opportunities to meet other people. Many people with learning disabilities find themselves isolated and need support to develop friendships and relationships. With the right support, most people with a learning disability can achieve their dreams — whether that is being in a relationship or getting married.
