For the women who have experienced them, they know the struggles and nuances of getting involved with a married man at work. Like in the movies, workplace affairs can begin feeling exciting and mysterious—but, almost inevitably, over time they create a whole lot of pain. I learned this through personal experience, after having an affair with a married man—who was also my boss—for seven years. Affairs that start at work are unique in so many ways.
Sometimes, even though a woman started off as a morally upstanding person, she finds herself joining the club of women who sleep with married men. When we understand the psychology of women who date married men, we become more aware and able to prepare ourselves for what actually exists around us. Secretly many women may admit that there can be a specific allure about a man who is married.
And of those who engage in an affair, that affair lasts an average of two years. Your grandmother, great-aunt or pastor of your church may not approve. But extramarital affairs have been going on for centuries — a dirty little secret that no one talked about publicly.
