I felt unafraid of almost anything. Physically, I felt wonderful. I was free-spirited and happy most of the time. It would have been so nice to be able to give myself dating tips! Ever wish you could travel back to the past, walk up to yourself and give yourself some really, really good, smart dating tips? Talk to him with an open mind. I was once on a blind date and did not find him attractive at all, at the beginning. Halfway into dinner, I fell in love, and ended up dating him for 6 months, until he broke up with me!

Two people with a big age gap will likely be at very different life stages and want different things. They might not be able to see things from your perspective or understand your interests or worries. An older person may use things like a car, money and access to alcohol to impress you and get what they want.

Which is what is happening with a friend from work. She's a very young 21, at Uni, likes to drink, party, mess around and have lots of relationships. She works 6 hours a week at a cafe. He's a mature 40, owns his own houses and runs his brothers very successful electronics business. He has never had a long term relationship. AIBU to think its a bit odd for an older guy to be wanting a relationship with such a younger woman?
