Um, you know, some of them I feel very vulnerable, um, kind of going into the details. Um, you know, a lot of people have questions about this very things specifically and I definitely want to go, um, over the, um, two week to one month recovery of the surgery.

You will receive a letter confirming your referral has been received and accepted. You will then be contacted by the clinic to set up a time for your group orientation. This class discusses what bariatric surgery is, what is required to be successful and helps you to decide if this is the right decision you. It may take 6 or more months from the time you receive your letter to the scheduling of the group orientation class.

Hi All! Alex has graciously allowed me to post once about my dating site for weight loss surgery patients. Surgical reduction of the stomach may do more than change signals of hunger and appetite, improve metabolic function and induce substantial weight loss. New research suggests it may change some hearts as well. Patients who were single before surgery, however, were roughly twice as likely to begin a new relationship afterward as were obese patients who just got weight-loss advice. Those findings, measured four years after patients underwent bariatric surgery, were magnified in people who lost the most weight.
